Announcing... FINAO ALBUMS!

This may be old news to some of my recent bookings but I want to officially announce my decision to use Finao as my exclusive wedding album vendor. For the past year or so I have been using Asukabooks as my only book offering. I will still use them for my coffee table books but after an exhaustive search since discontinuing leather/traditionally bound albums in early '07, I have decided that one company embodies both the style and service that will allow me to get back into this type of book. Finao, in my opinion, offers the best in beauty, elegance and versatility, ultimately delivering a unique album that is 100% you (ok, with some percentage of me mixed in somewhere). Effective immediately I am offering their flagship product, the Finao One album as my premium book offering and may expand to include other products in the near future.

When you select a package that includes a Finao One album, you will also choose your cover style, materials and colors from their extensive collection. As you can tell from the images below, the possibilities are truly endless and I will be there every step of the way, offering as much or little advice as you need to ensure that you get a finished product that perfectly reflects your style. These images are of actual albums created by Finao but not of my personal sample books. I hope to have that in my hands very soon. Please email me if you'd like more info!

If you want more info right now, visit their site at http://www.finaoonline.com.

Lastly, if you are booked already or I have photographed your wedding already (with an Asuka product as part of your package) but have not designed your book yet and you want to upgrade to a Fiano One album, just let me know and I will make you a really good deal to do it!

New Blog!

Well, if you haven't noticed, or are new to my blog, I just did a total redesign on it. I think it's cleaner, more functional and pretty soon it will be the landing point for my entire website. I am also implementing a new method for viewing images. If you want to view all the images from a post, simply click on one of the images and that image will expand and display for you. To navigate to the next/previous image, just click either the left or right side of the current image. Enjoy!

I would LOVE feedback from those of you familiar with my old blog layout.

NEWS: Best of 2008!

Wow, I got an email from the fine folks at The Knot Magazine last week that totally caught me by surprise. Through no effort of mine (other than trying to do the best I can for my clients) I was named as one of the Knot's "Best of 2008". This is an award given to the vendors receiving the highest praise and ratings by "Knotties" (brides who the Knot.com or read The Knot Magazine) surveyed about their wedding experience and asked to rate their vendors. I am truly humbled by this award and my heartfelt thanks goes out to any of my wonderful past brides/couples who participated in this survey and obviously valued my work enough to say great things about me :) Thanks to you, I received a 3 star rating, the highest you can get.

This means so much to me mainly because it affirms that I am giving the kind of service and delivering the quality of images that my clients all deserve!
Thank you,
Robert

IMPORTANT NEWS: Online Galleries

Just an FYI for many of my past clients; I have stopped posting events to my old online hosting service. I am also trying to phase out fulfilling orders through them. If you have a wedding, engagement shoot or any other group of images hosted through Printroom.com (which is everyone from 2007 and before), please contact me directly with any print requests. I can easily fill orders this way and have other ways to accept credit card orders. In the very near future, with the help of my new hosting company, will be launching my new online proofing solution. Until then I will handle all requests via email.

I will be REMOVING ALL GALLERIES from Printroom in the near future so if you need access to your images, please email me and I will make them available through my new site.
Thank you for your patience.
Robert

NEWS: Website Updates

I just want to make sure everyone reading this knows that unlike my old website (like 2 weeks ago old) my new site will be constantly changing, evolving and reflecting my most current work along with greatest hits from old. I am also going to post several galleries from individual weddings to give you a sense of what I do at each wedding. I know many of you say "Yea, the portfolio is good but what do the REST of the shots look like?" Well, this is a partial look at the rest of the shots, usually around a hundred or so. I will constantly be adding new galleries so check back often.

NOTE: On the SAMPLES page, there are more galleries to choose from if you hit the arrow on the right side of the page.
Today I added some really old work from my days of covering the NBA (ok, not that old) and some early fashion work as well as martial arts images. This should give you an idea of where I come from as an image maker.
