Upgrade Done... sorta...

The upgrade is finished on the server side and now it's just up to me to re-upload all your client galleries. From now on, you'll log in to a site that will contain any and all galleries associated with your wedding/event. You will also be able to tag favorites and order prints. Overall, I think it will greatly enhance your experience. I will begin reloading the galleries in reverse order of their original upload date so the newest will go up first. Remember, your first gallery password is all you'll need to get into your site.

Major site improvments!

This came up rather quickly but I will be upgrading my site over the course of the next couple days. It may be down at times but mainly what that means to you is my proofing area will be undergoing a total re-work. The galleries you currently have will be replaced by a new system that will incorporate a shopping cart so you can order prints, etc, and possibly much more. I will be going from a system of galleries to more of a mini-site for each wedding and event I do. It should be much better and I am really excited about the changes. I will try to keep all passwords the same, and since these sites should encompass ALL images previously spread across 2 or 3 galleries, the password you used to access the first of your galleries is likely the one that will access your new mini-site. Check back here for more news. Please email me at robert@weddingsbyrobert.com if you have any questions.

Out of town...

I will be out of town photographing an event in Minnesota this weekend from early Friday, October 10th, to late Sunday. If you have any pressing needs, you can send me an email and I should respond the same day. I may not be able to return phone calls.

Early 2009 Dates Available!!!

I was just reviewing my calendar for next year and realized that while I am ahead of my last year's total booking pace, which is wonderful, almost all my weddings for '09 so far are later in the year. While it's great to see so many early birds, I would love to fill out some of the early months so if you have an date picked for the first 1/2 of 2009, let me know because I may be able to make you a deal if you're one of the first few to book in the next couple weeks.

Back from Maryland!

I have to say this was one of the most exciting, beautiful weddings of the year. Maybe because it was in another state, in a spectacular location (Chesapeake Bay Beach Club), or because it was filled with such a diverse group of people from all over the world (13 countries by final count I think) but Sharon and Turgul's wedding was brilliant. It also helps that I got to work with my extraordinary wife, which always makes things just a bit more special for me. Look for our pictures to be posted in the next couple days. Now we're off to reply to some of that email and finish up a few weddings. If you're waiting for a book proof or anything else, rest assured they're coming soon!
