SAMPLES: Christina & Mark's Disney Wedding (sorta)

When I got an email from Christina requesting information I was very interested to find out that she was trying to book from England. Her and her husband Mark wanted me to photograph their post wedding bliss at the Grand Floridian. They were to be married at a small church wedding (complete to Christina walking to a classic Ramones tune) by the time I arrived and I was just to capture their reception dinner and get some portraits on the way to the grand finale aboard the Grand 1 yacht to see the Disney fireworks. While the boat trip (which was a surprise to all but the bride, groom and their son) was undoubtedly the highlight of the evening, the moonlight and sunset on the lagoon beach proved to be photographic magic worthy of any Disney production.

P.S. Here's to brides NOT covering up their tattoos. Sorry mom :)

SAMPLES: Jessenia & Damien E-Shoot

Well ya'll, I am a bit (read: A LOT) behind on my blog. This E-Shoot with Jess and Damien is the first of a series of new posts I am making. I'm so bad, I have already done their wedding (more on that a few posts from now :) We had a great time at downtown Celebration, even managing to avoid redoing the "phone booth shot" I did there a few years ago. As you can see, they were 100% into it and could not have been more fun to work with. Hey, we even squeezed in a game of ski-ball!

SAMPLES: Mandy & Ed Wedding

I was Daytona bound again and it was for the fantastic wedding of Mandy and Ed at the Plaza Ocean Club. I won't lie, it was one of those "plan b" looking weddings going in. Plan B meant that planner Jennifer with Magnolia Solutions was going to have to get this beachside wedding inside because we were all sure it was going to pour down all day. Leaving Orlando I was sure it was a wash but guess what... it was Florida and on the beach the weather could not have been more different. 79 degrees and not a cloud in the sky (or so it seemed). Goes to show, no matter what it looks like, wait an hour and it could all change.

SAMPLES: Donna & Ryan Wedding

Donna & Ryan's beach wedding was a fantastic experience. From a spectacular church (yes, Donna, it was :) to a great beach setting and a huge, open reception room overlooking the ocean, it was hard not to get some great images. Again, and as I always say in my consultations, Donna & Ryan (not to mention their attendants) being great sports, full of ideas and willingness to try something fun really helped.

^Nominee for best suggested shot by a bridesmaid...

SAMPLES: Liz & Nathan Wedding

Something happened with Liz & Nathan's pictures so I re-uploaded them.
Liz & Nathan's Cypress Grove Park wedding and reception was just as spectacular. Another thing that was great about this wedding was that they are members of a exclusive but growing club of couples deciding to do their "together" portraits before the ceremony. They bucked an old tradition to embrace a new tradition of the Reveal. Nathan turning around to see his bride for the first time was priceless and made for a great series of images.Â
