Winter Wedding Specials!

Russian Wedding Couple - Random Shot - St. Petersburg, Russia, 2008 by Robert McClory

The temperature is falling (ok, so maybe not as cold as Russia in the winter but hey, it still gets cold in Fla too!) and so are the prices for winter weddings in January and February. 2011 is already shaping up to be one of the best years ever, with many prime spring and fall dates already booked. If you are trying to beat the heat and are planning a January or February wedding, give me a shout. I will work with you to get you a fantastic deal for some hot pictures to warm up your chilly nuptials!

Wow, thanks!

I just wanted to thank those of you who have taken advantage of my newly launched (or RE-launched) portrait side. I will say that weddings are, and will continue to be my main focus going forward but it's nice to see so many past wedding clients again as they book portrait sessions. On the note of booking sessions; I know this time of year is popular for portraits, whether it be for Christmas cards, for gifts to give family or to show off to your house full of holiday guests. I want to try to make time for each and every one of you who want to book a session but time is running short. If you've been meaning to schedule something with me before the holidays, don't wait too long. Dates are harder and harder to come by as we get closer to the end of the year.

Also, this week is the week where I make a huge push to get albums wrapped up to meet holiday printing deadlines so most other work goes on hold while I try to do that. If you have any special needs or requests this week, please don't hesitate to ask. I know things get a little crazy this time of year and I want to do everything I can to make sure I help you manage that insanity whenever I can. So let me know what you're looking for and I will do my best to accommodate. I will resume all other projects, processing and production after the 15th.

Thanks, Robert

Michelle+Jeremy Gettin' The Dress (and suit) Dirty

Wow. To say it was windy would be the understatement of the year. It must have been gusting 50 mph at New Smyrna for our shoot. The sky was cloudless and no rain in the forecast but that wind... Well, the show must go on and Michelle & Jeremy braved the wind and slight chill to help pull off a fantastic set of images. Never mind I almost fell in the surf with my gear :) Hope you enjoy these as much as we did making them!

Kaara+Chris' Wedding

Ok this is the first one that needs an explanation. When a bride hears a loud "pop" from the back of her dress, you get one of the best bridal reaction shots ever :) Thankfully the sound was nothing serious. No dresses were harmed in the making of this image!

This is the second one that I need to explain a bit. When Staci the planner told me that we had a stop at Applebees planned between the ceremony and reception, well, I was curious. Turns out that Kaara and Chris met at Applebees and they wanted to celebrate that fact by capturing a few images there. The management and staff could not have been more helpful! I LOVE these shots.

"I've been trying to find the right words but all I can come up with is a huge THANK YOU! Everyone who attended the wedding were so impressed by you that they couldn't wait to see the pictures. We've gotten such amazing responses to the photos.Secondly, I don't have the words for the pictures. You captured us to perfection. Even the reception pictures are hilarious (although my mother will kill me later) and captures just how much fun we had that night. I can't wait to see the entire portfolio. We're so honored that you were a part of our day. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
