Light and Airy or Dramatic?

You don’t have to choose! That’s the message I want to spread and maybe that’s enough for you to stop reading :)

I think a good, well-rounded photographer can bounce between looks without sacrificing quality or consistency. Photographic style should be a choice, not a limitation. I believe style runs deeper than just how bright or dark an image is. It’s about a clarity of vision that transcends and can adapt to the ever-changing conditions of a wedding.

With all that in mind, if you have a strong preference for a certain look, I can certainly shift my overall approach. Let’s talk about it so I can make sure I deliver images you love!

Dramatic

Sometimes images, couples or moments call for the smolder. They demand some weight and so choosing to add some lighting, pump up things in post-processing is the right way to go.

Light and Airy

Other times things are more breezy. The light is incredible and it would be a shame not to just let things be light and ethereal. This is accomplished both with how it’s shot but also my choices in post-production.
